Job description
- To provide on-site management of sizable
audit assignments
- To assist in planning of audit assignments
and to ensure that the work is undertaken
in accordance with any pre-assignment instructions
- To provide adequate briefing to junior
staff
- To supervise the work of junior staff,
and to provide on the job training where necessary
- To review the work undertaken by junior
staff to ensure that it is adequate and complete
- To carry out the more complicated areas
of audit assignments
- To identify and resolve any problems
arising during the course of the audit and to
report these to Executive together with recommendations
- To ensure that the audit file is complete
before it is passed on to the Executive
- To act as the primary point of client
contact during the assignment and to ensure
that the client receives a high quality and
responsive service at all times
- To identify opportunities for the firm
to provide additional specialist services to clients,
and to report these to the Executive and Engagement
Director
- Draft reply for complicated tax inquiry
- Tax review

Specific requirements |
| |
- Degree or Diploma holder with major in Accounting
- 3-4 years solid audit working experience
- HKICPA/ACCA student member (finalist)
- Able to supervise a team of audit staff to discharge
sizeable audit cases independently
- Knowledge of updated auditing standard is an asset
but not essential
